SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Proposed Attendance Boundary Realignments for Hunter’s Green, Pride, Heritage, Turner/Bartels K-8, Mort, Pizzo, Tampa Palms, Witter, Shaw, Miles, Knights, Bailey, Thonotosassa and Clark Elementary Schools
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Pursuant to School Board Policy 5120, administrative corrections to the attendance boundaries made to coincide with parcel lines must be provided to the School Board in a report. Many times the boundary will split parcels between schools. No school assignments will be modified as a result of this realignment. Staff is starting the process to move to a parcel based system instead of relying only on the street network addresses that can be unreliable at times and not effective when new residential developments are constructed. |
