EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The following annual Energy Conservation report for SY15-16 demonstrates the District’s conservation efforts. During this period, energy consumption was further reduced. The District’s electrical consumption per square foot dropped from 12.50 kWh/sqft in SY14-15, to 12.10 kWh/sqft for SY15-16. This decrease represents approximately a 2.82 percent drop in usage over last year.
Also included in the report is an update on the thermal energy storage (ice) plants. These plants now continue to avoid electrical costs of approximately $295,863 annually.
