Approve the Renewal of the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) College Readiness System Support Agreement (Office of Teaching and Learning) Revised Executive Summary 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
AVID will provide one full-time staff member to support Hillsborough County Public Schools' (HCPS) implementation of the AVID system.  This includes: leadership, direction, training, counseling, professional development, and support for faculty and administration at the AVID sites.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $90,000 will be available in the Supplemental Academic Instruction (SAI)-AVID Support budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 4607.  As of June 6, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $394,748.01.  HCPS shall be paid a total of $7,500 per month for services performed satisfactorily during the Term of the Agreement, not to exceed a total of $90,000.
EVALUATION
The evaluation will be based on the annual staff evaluation by HCPS and The AVID Center's benchmark data provided by The AVID Center.
