EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The School Board annually approves charges, reimbursements, and rental fees to cover the cost of consumable supplies, textbooks, vocational kits, etc. Category I: Funds Paid by the Board for Consumable Supplies - These funds are supplied by the School Board and are given to schools for consumable supplies. New Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses have been assigned an allocation. Several CTE courses are being recommended for an increase per-student allocation. Category II: Personal Property - These charges are paid by the students. The books, kits, etc. become the property of the student. Each charge reflects the actual cost of the item. Category III: Rentals (Paid by Students) - These items are rental fees and dues paid by the students. Category IV: Service Charge (Paid by Students) - These items are service charges paid by the students and are primarily Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) dues and similar charges. Category V: Available through the Bookstore or Similar Operation - These are optional items including workbooks, paperback novels, etc. that are generally sold through the Bookstore. |
