SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Interlocal Agreement for the Provision of Educational Services with Hillsborough County, Florida for Fire Rescue Staff and Reserve Responders by Aparicio-Levy Technical College for the 2017/2018 Fiscal Year (Workforce Connections Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the Interlocal Agreement for the Provision of Educational Services to provide training for employees of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. This Interlocal Agreement is mutually beneficial for continuation of necessary firefighter sciences training throughout Hillsborough County.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
This item is included in the divisional general operating budget. The Firefighter 1 and 2 training programs generate Workforce Education funds.  Hillsborough County, Florida will pay the district for student tuition, instructor salaries, and indirect costs.  The maximum value of this agreement is $341,896.80. No additional cost will be incurred by the district.
EVALUATION
The evaluation will be based on an analysis of the number of instructor hours for firefighter training provided in the 2017/2018 fiscal year.
