Accept the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bids Submitted by Multiple Vendors - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #16051-DST Large Food Service Equipment (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 20, 2016, Procurement Services, in conjunction with Student Nutrition Services, issued an ITB to establish fixed pricing for large food service equipment such as ovens, steam tables, and refrigeration units.  Award of this agreement shall be to the lowest bidder for each line item, or group of items, as specified in the bid. 

This has been reviewed by the General Manager of Student Nutrition Services.  All prices offered are firm against any increase for one year from the effective date.  This agreement is solicited annually.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $850,000 will be available in the 2016/2017 Student Nutrition Services budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 9999.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are performed annually or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
