SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Six-Month Agreement for Technical Services with the Tampa Bay Arts and Education Network (TBAE) to Provide Video Broadcast Services (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On January 17, 2017, the Board approved a six-month agreement with TBAE for video broadcast services. It is recommended that TBAE continue to provide broadcasting services produced by Hillsborough County Public School (HCPS) including School Board meetings, Math Homework Hotline, School Board workshops, Inside HCPS, and other programming from August 2017 through January 2018 at a cost of $18,000 per month as per the attached Agreement for Technical Services. The artistic and technical services provided by TBAE are exempt from the bidding process, per Florida Department of Education Rule 6A-1.012(11)(a) Purchasing Policies.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $108,000 will be available in the Communications Department budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5611.  Funds will be allocated in the 2017/2018 fiscal year budget.
EVALUATION
Alternative suppliers, in-house services, and actual costs will be evaluated over the next six months.
