EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Approve opening/closing times for 37 schools affected by the 2017-2018 ERT school list. ERT Bell Times:
This schedule will require 165 high school routes to drop students off at school at 6:30 a.m. The 2:25 p.m. ERT dismissal time will shorten the 45 minutes between elementary and high schools to 35 minutes. Schools that are no longer ERT sites will be reset back to their prior bell time category.
The Transportation Department has prepared 878 school bus routes to begin the 2017-2018 school year. All runs and routes are subject to change based on student enrollment needs. |
|
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
All Strategic Objectives • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funding for the ERT program comes from two Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP) sources. This includes the Supplemental Academic Instruction (SAI) Categorical and the Reading Instruction Categorical.
