Approval is requested for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Florida Safe Routes to School Program Management, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, and the School Board of Hillsborough County Florida, a body corporate ("School Board").

This program provides three closed-in trailers housing a total of 54 bicycles to be utilized by Hillsborough County Public Schools for Bike Safety Education. The trailers shall be housed at the District's Transportation Facility and delivered to school as needed for the program. Transportation training staff will also be trained to assist schools when needed. At the conclusion of the five-year MOU, the District shall retain ownership of the bicycles and trailers to continue the program with our schools. It has been requested for the School Board to be the initial signer on this document.
