Hillsborough County Public Schools and Pinellas County Schools District Partnership | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Hillsborough/Pinellas District Learning Partnership will work to establish a professional learning community between staff and leaders in the two school districts with the ultimate goal of raising high school graduation rates for the Tampa Bay region. Workgroups will focus on early childhood education, college and career connections and issues related directly to graduation. Initial collaboration efforts began in early 2017, supported by the Alliance for Public Schools and United Way Suncoast. Early discussions focused on each districts’ strategic plan in order to identify common themes and establish areas for collaboration. The next phase of work will focus on building deeper and supportive relationships between individuals in job alike roles. |
