Recognition and Presentation of Plaques to Area Star Swept Award Finalists and Trophies to the Elementary School of the Year and Secondary School of the Year (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
From September 2016 to March 2017 monthly StarSwept awards were presented based on the nominations by each of the Area Superintendents in both the elementary and secondary or ancillary sites categories. In April, the Area Superintendents selected from the monthly winners three elementary and two secondary or ancillary sites which were evaluated by Custodial Operations personnel for the area school of the year.  In May, Custodial Operations and district personnel evaluated the area winners in the different categories to select both a elementary and a secondary or ancillary site school of the year for 2016-2017. At this time we would like to recognize these finalists with a plaque and present the eighth annual perpetual trophies to the winners.
