SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Public Hearing and Approve the Resolution Amending the Community Investment Tax Project List Initially Approved on April 26, 2016, in Order to Approve Additional Projects to be Funded for the 2016/2021 Period by the Community Investment Tax (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Per the requirements of Hillsborough County Ordinance 96-12 and the Interlocal Agreement of July 17, 1996, the District is required to hold a Public Hearing and adopt a Resolution listing the projects to be funded from the proceeds of the Community Investment Tax. The School Board adopted a Resolution approving such projects on April 26, 2016, and it is in the best interest of the District to amend such project list in order to add renovations and repairs at various school sites. A Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Tampa Bay Times on September 9, 2017. Mr. John Stokes of Nabors, Giblin and Nickerson will attend this meeting to assist the Board in this endeavor.

Estimated cost of renovations and repairs at school sites is $10,000,000 between now and 2021.
EVALUATION
Our evaluation will include meeting the HVAC facilities' needs provided by Chris Farkas, the Operations team, and the Capital Outlay Five-Year Plan.
