| Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Classroom Addition at Sickles High School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The addition of classroom space is proposed for Sickles High School to alleviate overcrowding and accommodate future growth. The project scope for Sickles High School includes space for 300 students and repairs to existing stairs and handrails throughout the school. On May 2, 2017, the Board appointed Ranon & Partners, Inc. and Creative Contractors, Inc. to provide design and construction management services.
Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. Project completion is scheduled for July 16, 2018. |

Funds in the amount of $9,652,251.00 will be available in the Impact Fees and Local Millage funds. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8219 / 9999. As of Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $9,405,151.34.
The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $4,244,352. |
