Approve Acceptance of Project for Fire Alarm Replacements at Four Sites (Brandon, King, Plant, Twin Lakes) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the fire alarm systems at Brandon, King, and Plant High Schools and Twin Lakes Elementary School. District staff combined the requirements into a single project and selected KBA Engineering, Inc./Tanase & Associates from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.
The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |

Funds in the amount of $1,334,626.59 will be available in the Local Millage fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8116. As of Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $40,797.30.
