The Early Childhood Head Start Department of the School Board  of Hillsborough County, Florida, a body corporate, has been working with the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa, Florida, to develop a community partnership to provide classroom space for the district's Head Start program.  The Housing Authority is constructing the Encore Community within the core of Tampa and worked with Head Start staff to determine a feasible location for the program within this project.

The attached Lease Agreement is for 2,500+/- square feet within the Trio at Encore, located on Ray Charles Boulevard in Tampa.  The initial term of the Lease will be five (5) years, with three (3), five (5) year renewal options; rent will be $1.00 per year; and $1,000 for the initial year common area maintenance charges; with a limit of 5% increase per year over the previous years controllable common area charges.

The Lease Agreement was prepared by legal counsel of the School Board and the Housing Authority.  Upon execution by the School Board, the Lease will be presented to the Housing Authority for signature.
