Approve Florida State Fair Authority Memorandum of Agreement (Chief of Staff) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The School Board of Hillsborough County (the “School District”) and the Florida State Fair Authority (the “FSFA”) wish to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (the “MOA”), which serves to embody a longstanding informal agreement between the School District and the FSFA. For several years, the FSFA has provided the School District exhibit space at the annual Florida State Fair. In exchange, the School District provides educational exhibits which, among other things, celebrates the “Preparing Students for Life” theme of Hillsborough County Public Schools and a tribute to Black History month, “African Americans in Film, Influencers of State and Screen.” The purpose of this MOA is to formally establish a framework of collaboration, as well as articulate specific roles and responsibilities for each entity that will support the full and effective implementation of the aforementioned relationship. This MOA is effective from the date executed by the Board until the end of the 2018 Florida State Fair (February 19, 2018). The MOA has been executed by the Florida State Fair Authority. |
