| Approve the 2016-2019 English Language Learners (ELL) Plan | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The ELL Plan is required by the State of Florida to ensure districts abide by a set of assurances when developing and implementing programs and services to students classified as ELL.
The plan addresses the identification, assessment, monitoring, instructional delivery model, and training of school and district personnel. The plan further delineates the rights and responsibilities of parents, students, and the district. |

| EVALUATION | |
| The Florida Department of Education, Office of Student Achievement and Language Acquisition, monitored and provided feedback to the district during onsite and self-monitoring reviews regarding the implementation of the 2013-2016 district English Language Learners Plan. | |
