In 2016/2017, over 10,000 students participated in Workforce Connections activities. There were 8 active CTSOs aligned with all CTE areas, along with 28 active JROTC units and 4 large-scale regional Workforce Connections events. Participating students received a wide variety of recognition at the local, regional, state and national level. Over 150 students achieving the highest levels of achievement were recognized by the School Board during Recognition meetings over the past year. In 2017/2018, these activities will be evaluated by district staff from Workforce Connections based on the number of students participating and the impact on student achievement. |
