EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Waterford Early Learning™ (Waterford) is an online software application utilized in the classroom and home. Waterford starts children with the basics, and adapts automatically to give each student a learning experience that is focused on his or her exact needs. On-demand reporting gives teachers more insight into the learning process through in-depth analysis of a single student or a snapshot of the entire class. Waterford Early Math and Science Program provides young learners comprehensive instruction in: early math numbers and operation, geometry, algebra, measurement, and data analysis. The integrated science curriculum emphasizes exploration and the scientific method while teaching earth, life, and physical science. In accordance with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(12) (d), commodities or contractual services available only from a single source may be exempted from the competitive solicitation requirements. When a district school board believes that commodities or contractual services are available only from a single source as specified by the FLDOE, the district school board may negotiate on the terms and conditions with the single source vendor. The term for this agreement shall be from December 6, 2017, through September 30, 2018, and may be renewed for one additional year. There is a 30-day termination for convenience clause included in this contract. This contract will be reviewed and evaluated annually and may be renewed by the Superintendent per terms of the specifications. |
