EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Three elementary schools will begin transitioning to a K-8 grade configuration in the 2018/2019 school year. Lutz Elementary School, Maniscalco Elementary School, and Pizzo Elementary School are targeted for this transition. Each school will offer 6th grade courses in 2018/2019, add 7th grade in 2019/2020, and add 8th grade in 2020/2021. Multiple stakeholders are involved in the planning for this transition. As a result, the attached guidance document was developed.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems
