EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
HK Strategies supported marketing and communications efforts for the Hillsborough Principal Pipeline (HPP) for six years.  They worked with the leadership development team to create photo libraries, videos, infographics, brochures, and other marketing and communications tools that enhanced program implementation and innovation.

The current contract will focus on the Turnaround Leadership Pathways (TLP) initiative funded by the United States Department of Education through the Teacher and School Leader Incentive Program grant.  The award received by the District was over five million for the five-year grant period.  Year one funding is $1,278,922.  HK Strategies is one of the partnerships that was written into the first two years of the grant as part of a marketing campaign to get the very best teachers and leaders into our highest needs schools.

The contract with HK Strategies will support the development of key messages, vignettes and videos, brochures, infographics, power point templates, pop-up banners, case studies, and ongoing consultation in an effort to effectively market and support the work of the District’s TLP.

Current HPP tools created by HK Strategies have been shared at over 28 local recruitment events, over 200 local principal and AP meetings and trainings, and at approximately 68 local and national meetings, conferences, and convenings that support the field of education. The tools are extremely professional and high quality, and have received a great deal of praise from both internal and external stakeholders. Several of the tools have also been featured in educational journals to highlight the principal pipeline. Use of the new tools for TLP will also be tracked for usage.
