Approve Joint Use Agreement Between the School Board of Hillsborough County and the Musicale and Federated Clubs, Inc. for Auditorium Use by Gorrie Elementary School and Musicale's Use of the School's Parking Areas
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, a body corporate and the Musicale and Federated Clubs, Inc. desire to enter into a Joint Use Agreement for the School Board's use of the Musicale's auditorium and the Musicale's use of School Board parking located at Gorrie Elementary School.  Gorrie would have use of the auditorium for students to engage in practice, plays and to hold various functions or performances that would accommodate family members and large gatherings.  The Musicale would use Gorrie's parking for overflow to accommodate their larger group functions.  The principal of the school and the president of the Musicale will meet as necessary to develop use schedules for their respective properties.  Each party will be responsible for the maintenance of their own parking lots. Gorrie staff will be responsible to lock all doors after each use, confirm no prior existing damage before each use and clean up.

The term of the Joint Use Agreement will be ten (10) years with right of termination with a 60-day prior written notice.  There will be no cost to either party under the agreement.  The Musicale will execute the Agreement after it has been approved by the School Board.

Approval of the Joint Use Agreement between the School Board of Hillsborough County and the Musicale and Federated Club, Inc. for use of the parking lot at Gorrie Elementary by the Musicale and the use of the Musicale's auditorium by Gorrie Elementary will have no cost to the School Board.
