SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement with the Tampa Sports Authority to Utilize Three Golf Courses Within the City of Tampa, 2018/2019 (Educational Access, Opportunity, and Alternatives Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval to utilize the three golf facilities provided by the Tampa Sports Authority within the City of Tampa for contests, practices, coaching, drills, and instruction that are part of a program of interscholastic golf competition sanctioned by the Florida High School Athletic Association.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $16,800 will be available in the Athletics Department Budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 6405.  As of January 22, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $30,233.13.
