SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Interagency and Data Sharing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the School Readiness Coalition of Hillsborough County D/B/A Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (ELC) and the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The MOU provides the district with historical data regarding the prior educational experiences of children entering kindergarten.  It also allows for the validating of tests and assessments and improved instruction for children. This MOU was reviewed and approved by the School Board Attorney on January 18, 2018.  The ELC requires the School Board’s signature, as the subcontracted agency, to acknowledge acceptance of this contract prior to the ELC’s final signature.

EVALUATION
The MOU will allow the ELC to share data to evaluate the effectiveness of the early childhood programs and initiatives.  There is no district-generated revenue used for this program.
