EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Florida’s Best and Brightest Teacher Scholarships reward classroom teachers who have achieved high academic standards during their own education as Florida’s best and brightest teacher scholars, as well as classroom teachers who have been evaluated as effective and highly effective. The 2017-2018 allocation from the state to be awarded to Hillsborough County Public Schools totals $17,988,000. This includes 13,113 teacher scholarships and nine principal scholarships. Attachments to this information item include the program memorandum from the Florida Department of Education, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sent to internal stakeholders, and the district allocation information. |
