Adoption of Proclamation: Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. - 2017 Woman of the Year (Communications)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Deputy Marilyn Alvarez has been named Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc.'s 2017 Woman of the Year for her significant contribution to the safety and education of children in Hillsborough County. She directly assisted and comforted students as a school resource deputy and boldly took on some of law enforcement's most challenging but crucial work serving in the Crimes against Children unit.
