Recognition of Schools and Individuals that Provided Preparing Students for Life Exhibits and Supported the 2018 Florida State Fair
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Over the last 38 years, in order to showcase Hillsborough County Public Schools, many individuals and schools have worked diligently to build outstanding exhibits at the Florida State Fair.  During the 2018 Florida State Fair 18 schools, Middle School Education, and Career Technical Education displayed outstanding educational exhibits emphasizing the theme of Preparing Students for Life.  These district exhibits were made possible through the efforts of the State Fair Committee, along with the efforts of the principals, sponsors, students, and departments.  The Preparing Students for Life State Fair Committee is requesting that the School Board recognize schools and individuals that entered an exhibit at the 2018 State Fair.

Funds in the amount of $100.00 will be available in the Administrations Department Account. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 6952. As of Thursday, March 8, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $400.00.
