Recognition of Schools and Individuals that Provided Exhibits for the Black History Month Event (African Americans in Film; Influencers of Stage and Screen) at the 2018 Florida State Fair (Office of Diversity)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
For the third year at the Florida State Fair, exhibits and live performances featuring African Americans in Film; Influencers of Stage and Screen were displayed as a tribute to Black History Month. Contributors included local schools and community members.  We would like the School Board to recognize the efforts of the principals, students, and community sponsors that participated in this event.

Funds in the amount of $1,000.00 will be available in the Secondary Education Office. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5409. As of Monday, March 19, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $3,800.00.
