Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Classroom Addition at Robinson High School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The addition of classroom space is proposed for Robinson High School to alleviate overcrowding. On May 2, 2017, the Board appointed John J. McKenna, Architect P.A. and Ajax Building Corporation to provide design and construction management services, respectively. The project scope includes space for 300 students and relocation of the driver's education range. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. Project substantial completion is scheduled for May 7, 2019. |

Funds in the amount of $9,404,100.00 will be available in the Impact Fees fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8619 / 9999. As of Wednesday, April 25, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $8,938,592.89.
The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $4,859,768. |
