Approve the Vendor Capacity Survey Between the American Red Cross LLC Central Florida and the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida to Provide Meals For Its Mass Care Mobile Unit
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has been asked by the American Red Cross LLC Central Florida (Red Cross) to provide meals for their mass care mobile unit during a declared state of emergency. SNS will provide up to 10,000 lunches and 10,000 dinners per day for pick up and distribution by the Red Cross to people in need. This agreement shall be in effect from June 1, 2018, through May 31, 2019.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Projected revenue will be approximately $35,200 per day at full capacity.
