Student Nutrition Services (SNS) will contract with the Board of County Commissioners to provide free lunch and snacks to children participating in summer programs throughout the county. For more than 25 years, this partnership has been in place to provide for the nutritional needs of children during the summer months. This is especially important for those children who take advantage of a free breakfast and lunch during the regular school year. The term of this agreement crosses two fiscal years; May 29, 2018 (FY18) through August 3, 2018 (FY19).

Approve Interlocal Agreement Between the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida to Provide Summer Meals for Children Participating in Summer Programs
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

For more than 25 years, this partnership has been in place to provide for the nutritional needs of children during the summer months. This is especially important for those children who take advantage of a free breakfast and lunch during the regular school year.
