| Approve the Agreement Between the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay (Boys and Girls Clubs) and the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida to Provide Meals for their Afterschool Meals Program (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has been asked to provide dinner meals for selected Boys and Girls Clubs sites for their afterschool programs. The Boys and Girls Clubs have been approved as a sponsor of the Child Care Food Programs and look to form a partnership with SNS to provide nutritious meals for their afterschool programs. As the Boys and Girls Clubs are approved for more sites, SNS will work collaboratively with them to ensure more children are fed a nutritious dinner during the school year.
The term of this contract is August 10, 2016, through May 26, 2017. The signed contracts were received by SNS on August 4, 2016, which results in requesting Board approval after-the-fact. |
