EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On February 1, 2018, the district received eight applications for prospective charter schools. Applicants were given the opportunity to present their applications to the Charter School Application Review Team. The team, made up of staff from a variety of district departments, reviewed the applications and provided feedback collectively. Feedback was compiled and used to interview the applicants for further clarity of the applications. Three out of the eight applications were withdrawn. The following applicants withdrew their applications and may apply during a later application period:
The remaining three applications will be presented to the School Board at a later date. |

The estimated cost of the review of the eight charter school applications is $74,172.49. The review of charter school applications is not covered by the two to five percent administrative fee collected to support the district charter schools. | |
