Approve Award of Contract for Roof Replacement at Schwarzkopf Elementary School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for roof replacement at Schwarzkopf Elementary School. The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation).  Award of the contract for construction to the lowest qualified bidder, Springer-Peterson Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., is recommended.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $1,155,988.00 will be available in the Local Millage fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8238. As of Wednesday, April 25, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $1,090,736.00. The contract amount being awarded is $967,208.
