Recognition of Robert (Bob) Schofner Receiving the P.R.I.S.M (Proactive, Relational, Integrity, Safety, and Motivation) Award (Communications)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board has identified five core values that guide students and staff: being Proactive, serving in a Relational way, having Integrity, prioritizing Safety, and leading with Motivation. In order to highlight the members of our school community who are demonstrating these values in their daily lives and interactions with others, Superintendent Jeff Eakins has created the PRISM Award. Senior Robert (Bob) Schofner embodies the core values of a PRISM Award recipient. Mr. Schofner is Plant High School's valedictorian, with a district GPA of 8.84 and state GPA of 4.0; he has devoted more than 570 hours to community service and is a leader in the school and community.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
