EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The attached job description is for the position of Specialist 2, Contracted Services, Communications and Electronics, which provides district-wide fire suppression support. This job description has been revised to more clearly articulate the specific duties and responsibilities of this position, as well as to include reference to required experience specific to the nature of the job. Additionally, the salary schedule has been updated to display the correct salary schedule (see notes in Financial Impact below). | |

This position is fully funded by Part 1 District funds. The new job description updates the displayed salary schedule from PROFTECH paygrade (PG) H to NON-REP PG 30 to align with the current salary schedule for this position. The salary schedule for this position was changed in the 2014-2015 school year when all positions on the PROFTECH schedule were moved to the NON-REP schedule, except those PROFTECH positions in the Information Technology Division. This position has been NON-REP PG 30 since the 2014-2015 school year; therefore, there is no additional cost incurred by the district. This position has a salary range of $42,423.04 to $68,249.28 |
