| Approve Award of Contract for Roof Replacement at Lithia Springs Elementary School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for replacement of the roof at Lithia Springs Elementary School. District Staff selected Roof Engineering Associates, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of the roof.
The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation). Award of the contract for construction to the lowest qualified bidder, Service Works Commercial Roofing, Inc. is recommended. |

Funds in the amount of $1,343,995.00 will be available in the Community Investment Tax fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8238. As of Wednesday, May 16, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $1,269,713.00.
The contract amount being awarded is $753,760. |
