| Approve Acceptance of Project for a Classroom Addition at Sulphur Springs K-8 Community School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The previously approved conversion of the Sulphur Springs facility to a K-8 school required additional classrooms to support new requirements for grades six through eight. On April 21, 2015, the Board appointed Rowe Architects Incorporated and Pinnacle/CSG, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The project scope added 12 classrooms, including two science labs, a computer lab, and a multipurpose room accommodating art, music and orchestra requirements.
The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |

Funds in the amount of $7,252,863.07 will be available in the Local Millage fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8594. As of Monday, July 23, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $420,559.08.
