A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for roof replacements at Lee Elementary and Hillsborough High Schools. District staff selected Roof Engineering Associates, Inc. and R.W. Tymewell, Inc. from the approved continuing services consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work included the reroof of Building 1 at Hillsborough High School and the replacement of the entire roof at Lee Elementary School. Although the work at Lee Elementary School was substantially complete, the project must be closed without final completion due to the fire that occurred in September 2017.

The design professional has certified that the work is now fully complete at Hillsborough High School in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
