SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Conveyance Deed, Access Easement and Drainage Easement from the School Board of Hillsborough County for Stormwater Ponds at Muller Elementary School and Bowers Whitley Career Center to Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 8, 2001, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida  and the Board of County Commissioners of Hillsborough County entered into an Interlocal Agreement for the purpose of co-locating a school, park, health clinic and social services center in the University Area.  Construction of all School Board and County facilities has been completed to include Muller Elementary School, Bowers Whitley Career Center, Junior Achievement, University Area Community Health Clinic, University Area Community Center and the new County library.  The final step is to convey ownership and maintenance responsibilities to the County for the stormwater drainage ponds and grant access over School Board property to allow them to do so.  As part of the conveyance, the School Board will retain an easement for stormwater drainage into these ponds.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
