Approve Grant of License Agreement and Fee Reimbursement Agreement Between the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and the Southwest Florida Water Management District at Nine School Sites for Well Monitoring
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and School Board of Hillsborough County district staff have worked together to memorialize an agreement to set the locations of nine existing monitoring wells on School Board property.  The License Agreement grants SWFWMD permission to access and use certain areas at nine School Board sites to construct, maintain, repair or replace a monitoring well and have access to the wells to perform hydrologic measurements, conduct ground water pumping tests, and to observe fresh/salt water interface levels.  These sites are listed on Exhibits "A" through "I: as follows:  Sergeant Smith Middle, Buchanan Middle, Oak Grove Elementary, Alexander Elementary, Twin Lakes Elementary, Crestwood Elementary, Town & County Elementary, Bellamy Elementary and Walker Middle Schools.

The License Agreement and Reimbursement Agreement have been reviewed by School Board legal counsel.  SWFWMD will reimburse the School Board up to $500 for these legal fees.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The School Board of Hillsborough County will be reimbursed $500 from SWFWMD for legal review fees.  No other costs are associated with this Agreement.
