Approve Agreement for Technical Services with Kagan Professional Development to Provide Professional Development for Educators at Foster and Oak Park Elementary Schools (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Title IV grant focuses on student support and academic enrichment in five high-needs elementary schools. This agreement will include professional development for approximately 120 educators from both Foster and Oak Park Elementary Schools. Educators in all core subjects will receive training in incorporating cooperative learning structures with classroom group assignments to increase student engagement and learning. The educators will apply the acquired knowledge within the classroom setting. |

Funds in the amount of $25,474 will be available in the Title IV federal grant. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3346.

EVALUATION | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools will collect and provide assessment data using teacher evaluation instrument: domain 3. The Title IV grant evaluator will provide assessment data on all grant activities. | |
