EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Student Code of Conduct is designed to inform parents and students of their rights and responsibilities at school, provide expectations for student behavior, and set a standard for providing all students with an environment conducive to learning. | |

• Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health | |

EVALUATION | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools must adopt a Student Code of Conduct, and make available for review with all stakeholders at the beginning of every school year (F.S 1006.07(2) Code of Student Conduct). A communication plan has been developed to ensure that the approved Code of Conduct is adequately communicated to families and staff. | |
