On November 8, 2001, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners entered into an Interlocal Agreement for the purpose of co-locating schools, park, health clinic, community library and a social services center within the University Area.  Final construction of the County library has been completed and the County is requesting a Temporary Construction Easement to allow them to enter on School Board property to install a new monument sign that will include Muller Elementary, Bowers Whitely Career Center, Junior Achievement, University Area Community Health Clinic and the University Area Community Partnership Library.  After installation, the County will complete an as-built  final survey and a permanent easement will be granted giving the County the ability to repair and/or maintain the monument sign.  The schools will still have the ability to use the new sign's  messaging capability to communicate with parents, students and faculty.

The Temporary Construction Easement will be presented to the BOCC at their August 1, 2018, regular meeting for approval.
