Approve the Grant Between Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) and Hillsborough County Public Schools, Student Nutrition Services (SNS) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County, Florida has been identified by Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) as a target community for expansion of the Breakfast in the Classroom initiative. FRAC is partnering with Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) to increase breakfast participation in FY 2018/2019 by implementing alternative delivery models in 10 HCPS' schools currently operating traditional breakfast service (See Attached List). The partnership will provide resources to help SNS extend its Breakfast in the Classroom initiative to more schools. It has been requested that the School Board be the first signer on this contract. |
