SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement with the City of Tampa for the 2018/2019 School Resource Officer Program (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board annually approves an agreement with the City of Tampa for the placement of School Resource Officers in our secondary schools.  The agreement is administered by the City of Tampa for the 2018/2019 fiscal year, August 1, 2018, through July 31, 2019.  The participating law enforcement agency in the School Resource Officer Program pays 50 percent of the program cost.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Total expenditure of this request is $1,690,727.78 using General Fund, project 9999, and Safe Schools, project 5318.  The Safe Schools Categorical as of the Florida Education Finance Program Second Calculation is $9,965,653.
