EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Section 1006.07 (6), Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires school districts to conduct an annual self-assessment of their safety and security programs using the Office of Program Policy and Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) School Safety and Security Best Practices. The attached self-assessment and narrative serves to assure that Hillsborough County Public Schools is in compliance with Florida Statute 1006.07(6), Safety and Security Best Practices. Strategies and actions were reviewed for the 2018/2019 school year by a district committee, which included members of Safety and Risk Management, School Security, Student Nutrition Services, Transportation, School Health Services, Exceptional Student Services, Athletics, Student Services, Professional Development, Teaching and Learning, Administration, and Informational Services. |
