EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
The 1996 Florida Legislature adopted an amendment to Section 24.121, Florida Statutes, requiring local school districts to make available to the public a report displaying discretionary lottery revenue and expenditures. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, Hillsborough County Public Schools received and expended $389,962. Lottery funds are used to:
- Develop and implement school improvement plans
- Support the School Improvement Program
- Enhance existing funding to charter schools
