Approve the Statement of Work by Scantron Corporation for School Climate and Perception Surveys (Office of Strategy Management)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On October 27, 2015, the Board approved the Scantron Corporation Request for Proposal (RFP) #15107-DST SCIP Surveys.  Scantron will continue administering the School Climate and Perception Surveys project (SCIP) for the 2018/2019 school year.  Any terms of service not addressed in this Statement of Work shall be addressed in the Hillsborough County Public Schools RFP # 15107-DST for SCIP Surveys.  Each year, the district administers an annual SCIP Survey to parents, students, and support staff.  The resulting data is instrumental in planning and improvement efforts, and provides insight on stakeholder perception throughout the district.

The contract terms and conditions allow for three additional one-year renewals, subject to negotiations and mutual agreement.  This contract may be terminated upon 30 days written notice.  The  Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement, per the terms of the specifications.

Expenditures were $137,217 for 2017/2018.  Funds in the amount of $80,408 will be available in the Office of Strategy Management budget.  For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 6955.  As of September 5, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $80,408.
EVALUATION
Work performed by Scantron will be evaluated for timeliness and accuracy according to the terms in the Statement of Work.
