Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Culinary Arts Classroom Conversion at Durant High School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Durant High School has been using a standard classroom as a culinary arts laboratory since the school opened in 1995. With the success and popularity of the Culinary Arts programs districtwide, it was determined that the lab at Durant should be renovated. District staff selected Rowe Architects Incorporated and Williams Company Tampa from the Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services.
Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. Project completion is scheduled for January 25, 2019. |

Funds in the amount of $764,871.00 will be available in the Community Investment Tax funds. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8207. As of Tuesday, September 11, 2018, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $740,631.00. The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $686,315. | |
